Coffee Bean Cards

I've always been a fan of a homemade card but started to dabble with this professionally in 2010. I wanted to buy some wedding thank you cards but found that they were all quite 'samey' (yes, Spellcheck, I know that's not a word).

This got me brainstorming and I designed some thank you card bundles. The ideas I came up with haven't made it to market (yet), but that's because I got sidetracked and fell in love with beans!

Why coffee beans? Well, there is a slight method in the randomness - check out my 'bean backstory' below.

Cards and gifts available to purchase in my Etsy shop.

Bean on the horizon

A short time later, and a similar situation presents itself - this time with sympathy cards. Again, they all seemed so 'samey' (not that I don't love a vase of flowers by a window).

It was at this point I drew my first coffee bean card, and I was smitten. I went on to design a few more along the the line of beans and the rest is history, as they say! All cards are drawn with good, old-fashioned pencil and pen, then scanned for digital reproduction and sometimes hand-crafted to finish.
